School Cirriculum
Playing, exploring, active learning, creativity and critical thinking are essential building blocks in igniting children's curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. These are also vital for building their capacity to learn to form relationships and thrive.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stages Curriculum framework. Here, the 'Seven Areas of Learning' are an integral part of each day.
We follow the children's interests by setting projects, themes and topics that stimulate excitement and enthusiasm.
All the children are valued as individuals and work at their own pace with the support of knowledgeable staff. These teachers and caregivers provide differentiated activities that suit the needs of every learner.
Children learn and develop through opportunities to interact in positive relationships and enabling environments.
We are passionate about delivering a Curriculum that is engaging, creative and challenging to all children.
A balance between play-based and adult-led learning is applied to work towards achieving the Early Learning
Goals. We also promote the development of Effective Learning Characteristics.
Throughout Kindergarten, we will be working towards your child achieving the Early Learning Goals. These goals cover seven areas of learning:
- Personal, Social and Emotional Development.
- Communication and Language.
- Physical Development.
- Literacy.
- Mathematics.
- Understanding the World.
- Expressive Arts and Design.
